At B2C2, we believe that fostering talent and encouraging social mobility is crucial for creating a thriving, inclusive future. That’s why we were thrilled to partner with Future Frontiers, an award-winning education and social mobility charity, to host an immersive career development program for young students in our London office. 

For four weeks, we welcomed 15 students, all aged 15, into our workplace to engage in a transformative experience designed to help them explore their future career paths. Through a series of highly structured and informative sessions, B2C2 team members shared their knowledge, experience and insights with the students, providing them with the tools to set clear goals and develop actionable plans for their futures. 

Using the comprehensive teaching resources and training provided by Future Frontiers, our team delivered a well-rounded program that introduced students to various aspects of our business. From trading to software development, to business development, the students gained a holistic view of the inner workings of B2C2 and the wider financial and tech industries.

A key highlight of the program was the opportunity for each student to meet with a dedicated mentor during the final days of the course. These one-on-one sessions allowed students to reflect on their experience, discuss their ambitions, and solidify their next steps as they prepare to enter their crucial GCSE year. To ensure the students continue to progress, mentors also provided them with external contacts and resources to further their understanding of potential career paths. 

The culmination of the program was a graduation ceremony hosted at our office, where we celebrated the students’ hard work and achievements over the four weeks. For our team, it was an incredibly rewarding experience, and we were inspired by the students’ enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.
